Strong Start

Just as Jimmy grabbed the arrow and rope, he turned to see about half of the “tax collectors” had broken free from his entangle spell. They have headed in his direction. Roll initiative.

Emerald Loop Caravan Stop
- Run into Balok, the drow Dmitri stopped from stealing tips at the Blushing Bear Tavern in Jigow “I’m not sure if you remember me, but a few weeks ago you stopped me from taking tips at the Blushing Bear Tavern. You knocked out one of my teeth and left me unconscious. I was in a real bad place at the time. I did some thinking over the next few days and decided to join the Auroran Watch and get my life put together. I am headed to Bazzoxan for my first assignment.”

- Tyvak and Moghra - daughter and son of Kierchaly Wastewalker who was killed by the udaak in Demonic Carrion encounter. Will trade +1 battleaxe for their father’s +1 dagger

[ ] Taskhand Verin Thelyss is the head of the Auroran Watch in Bazzoxan.
[ ] Bazzoxan was once a dark temple instrumental in the machinations of the Betrayer Gods during the Calamity.
[ ] The Kryn Dynasty went in search of the dark temple in hopes of restoring the area and renovating the ruins.
[ ] About 40 years ago, a group of curious locals uncovered a long-dormant gateway to the Abyss. Its demonic influence drove them mad, and they accidentally reactivated the gateway. This enabled demonic forces to pour out into the city. This incursion was eventually stifled, though at a great loss of life.
[ ] The restoration has not gone according to plan as of late because the settlers are regularly attacked by the demonic entities leaving the dark temple.
[ ] Bazzoxan is under martial law with the Auroran Watch in control. They also keep the demonic entities at bay which is why the civilians are ok with them being in control.
